Now a general manager, Joel Hackleman joined Anderson, Indiana’s Keg N Bottle as a second shift supervisor in 1992. Following two years in this position, he became a store manager. From 1996 to 1999, Joel Hackleman served the company as a buying manager, before advancing to his current leadership position.
Over his more than three-decade tenure at Keg N Bottle, Joel Hackleman has gained firsthand insight into every level of operations at the company, from stocking and cleaning activities to accounting and banking processes. As a general manager, he is responsible for overseeing all warehouse and human resources operations, which includes hiring employees and developing compensation packages. He is further tasked with managing relationships with banks, suppliers, distributors, and industry groups like the Indiana Association of Beverage Retailers, as well as the company’s nonprofit activities.
Joel Hackleman graduated from Ball State University. He leads a physically active lifestyle, with interests including weightlifting, golf, and running. He also enjoys boating and related activities, such as fishing and wake surfing.
